Shenna Walker's humble beginnings originate in a small town in Arkansas known as Palestine. Gospel music runs deep in her veins. Shenna has been singing since the age of 3 years. She began singing in church with her father, Bishop Michael Thomas. Her father would preach and after he was done, he would allow Shenna to stand before the congregation and sing. This was the beginning of Shenna's career.
Shenna grew and nurtured her singing talent. She beginning singing all over with her father and sang with several gospel quartet groups, choirs, and praise teams. As a teenager, she formed a singing group called "Radical". They gained regional fame, but eventually disbanded due to creative differences. Shenna still continued to sing at churches from time to time and assisted other singers when necessary.
Shenna gave up her dream of pursuing music as a full time career for a while and focused on other things in life until she rediscovered her love for music. Shenna is now focusing on her solo career and has currently completed her first solo studio project entitled "My Life", which is available now in all digital markets. Her first single "Favor" is creating a buzz along with its music video.
Shenna is not your traditional gospel singer. Her style of song is more contemporary gospel with a spice of Jazz and hip hop to it. Shenna's mission is to relieve stress, heal broken hearts, and uplift burden spirits through her style of songs.
